sashies Dispensary

What we did!

The concept for this dispensary was to create the feeling of being in a courtyard, with a majestic, abstract tree at its center. The space, previously a cigar lounge, needed to be reconfigured to accommodate a store room, office, bathroom, and sales floor, all while adhering to the New York State regulations required for a cannabis dispensary. Architectural plans by Charette Associates, P.C.

Key Features:

  • Creating a memorable and inviting space when you walk through the door to set Sashies apart from the other dispensaries. The tree in the middle gave us the wow factor, and the brick facade with fence and shrubs helps complete the courtyard feel. The wallpaper of a majuranaja field behind the shelving display with back lighting reinforces the feel of being in a courtyard looking out.

  • The space is small for all the functions that it needs to fulfill. Creating custom displays with fences that look like they are in front of shrubs secretly open up and provide more storage for office supplies, charging cords, etc.

  • The checkout counter is anchored by the back wall logo when you walk through the door. This area is a mix of form and function, display space, checking out, and walk-up window service.
