What we did!

The homeowners had great art and had purchased a sofa and wing back chairs but were having trouble pulling it all together with the bold pattern on the chairs. An area rug was vital in anchoring the space.  A neutral rug with great texture added interest and complimented the bold chairs nicely.  A new console table, lighting, coffee table and accent table added the finishing touches to the function of the space.  We added built -ins at the end of the room closest to the foyer to give the family a place to sit and put on their shoes. The built-ins storage and bench storage are invaluable!  A beautiful navy grass cloth on the back of the shelves adds warmth and texture to the space! We added custom roman shades with a gray stripe and navy trim over the bench and the windows flanking the fireplace.
