Before & After: Forever Bathroom
The Story
Small changes had been made to this primary bathroom over the years but, it was clear that it was due for an overhaul. With the plan to stay in this home forever, they wanted to be mindful of having the bathroom work for them for many years to come. Many universal design philosophies were used to create an aging in place design that no one would notice. The footprint of the bathroom was enlarged to create a larger shower that features a large bench, rain head, handheld, 4 body sprays, and built-in shelving. The wall that once separated the vanity from the wash room was removed and a larger vanity replaced it. Recessed lighting and a sun tube were added to bring in more light night & day. Heated floors and a heated towel rack add a touch of luxury and function.
